To improve and maintain the social and economic welfare among the organized members of the New Britain, CT Police Department. To encourage measures deemed beneficial to the welfare of this organization. Also, to gain recognition of our unity by striving for efficient Civil Service laws and for the protection of our entitled rights, both as citizens and law enforcement officers. This union is affiliated with the New Britain Central Labor Council. We are also affiliated with the Connecticut Council of Police Unions, AFSCME Council 15, the AFSCME International union and with the AFL-CIO.
