This is the newest unit in the NBPD.  It was commissioned to investigate the increasing amount of computer crimes in New Britain.  Major duties of the detectives assigned to it include:

-    Conducting polygraph examinations on criminal suspects and complainants as well as prospective employees of the City of New Britain.

-    Investigating computer crimes perpetrated by or against residents of New Britain.

-    Finding and prosecuting Internet sexual predators before they graduate to actual sexual assaults on the children of our City.
